Hi, I’m Subomarine, an Animator, Illustrator and Motion Graphics Designer, residing in Ireland, originally hailing from Colombia.
Hi, I’m Omar (Subomarine)… the sea has remained a symbol close to my heart since I was a kid, and has proven to be an inevitable source of inspiration every time I want to graphically represent feeling and emotion.
I’m obsessed with communicating ideas through art, music, cinema and literature. These different genres of ideation and expression ultimately drive my own passion for learning and creating.
I’m currently working as a Motion Graphics Designer at MMMultiply in London, United Kingdom, and as a freelancer under my own project brand ‘Subomarine’.
With 12 years’ work experience as a Digital Graphic Designer, I originally graduated in Multimedia Design from Academia de Dibujo Profesional in Cali, Colombia. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work for six different design and advertising agencies in Colombia, Ireland and the UK.
While working with these companies, I’ve been involved in projects ranging from 2D & 3D Animation, Video Edition, Brand Identity and Illustration, to Package Design, Social Media, and Advertising.
